Scope:
New shoes store In Altamura, Italy.
Every detail and design feature has been realised by Michele Desimine.
The project has been realised in one of the most important streets of the city, Altamura in Italy. and the shop now occupy a historic building.
Design Luxury Ltd interior designer has realised the logo, the furnishings and of course the interior design of the store, taking care of every details and aspect of the project.
The store was founded in 1981 and the owner decided to renew it in 2018. The designer has therefore sought to preserve the historical character of the brand aided by the oval architecture of the high and wide walls and arches, marking it all with a modern but natural and neutral insertion of a marble white calacatta floor covering, of the famous INALCO brand.
The walls have been treated with a matt SIKKENS water-based enamel (RAL 9016) that give the room a light tone. The counter was designed and built by DES, using a travertine shape and then covering it with two slabs measuring 120 x 240 with 6 mm thick tiles of calacatta INALCO.
On one of the two slabs, precisely that of the front side of the cash desk, our marble workers have carved and subsequently colored the BOTTIER brand. The cash desk has been placed on the opposite side to the entrance, to give a minimal tone and give depth to the main room. On the tuff wall, in front of the showcase precisely, the one opposite to the entrance (the largest), our designer designed and installed a metal containment structure, onto which 6mm thick mirrors were clipped so as to follow the arch of the vault and cover it completely. This combination of mirrors has given infinite depth to the room and given a continuous game of color projection, depending on the passage of customers and the accessories displayed from time to time. The display case has been created by making an iron box with a glass cube joined by iron tubes, on which the side entrance door has been added. The display case has a fixed metal installation designed and made by us, on which the goods are exhibited. The side walls have a plasterboard structure in their own body, composed of long shelves with a transparent glass base, on which the shoes and various accessories are placed. The external sign synthesizes the entire retail, being composed of a slab in Calacatta marble 1m x 1m, backlit, on which the name of the store is carved in gold. The entire store plays with white and GOLD on a chrome plating of only two colors.
